Welcome to The Legend of the Space Boat, an 8-bit shoot 'em up / rogue-like / endless waves game that delivers a polished and unique experience evocative of fondly recalled days at the arcade spent playing games like Space Invaders and Galaga. In the game, you will fire bullets in a variety of colors from your cannons to hold the ever encroaching swarms of regular and special aliens at bay, then collect upgrades to increase your chances of survival between waves. Rack up points to get a new personal high score while grooving to the fantastic soundtrack, then get into epic showdowns in intense, nerve-racking boss battles. With 7 unlockable vikings to play as, each having unique advantages and disadvantages, you can discover what play style lends itself to you the best. And once you have mastered the game's clever mechanics (some of which you'll have to discover for yourself) you can collect the game's achievements to prove yourself the ultimate space viking.

Will you face the darkness and create a story worthy of the title legendary? Or will your ship be overwhelmed by aliens and your tale lost forever in the cold abyss of space? There is only one way to find out.
